RESIST EMERGENCY TO DEFEND DEMOCRACY

of Sturniolo
Louis (Feb. 20 speech at the conference of the Left on the hydrogeological Ecology and Freedom in the province of Messina)

The hydrogeological land, the investigation of Florence on emergencies and the presentation of the bridge over the Straits of Messina in Messina held on February 12 are part of a narrative that should be considered in its unit size.

policy disasters and major public works are a response of elite political and economic crisis and constitute ways in which public resources become a source of enrichment for the few rather than the occasion of redistribution of wealth.

The event or project, in this perspective, they have nothing to do with society's needs. I'm just an opportunity to make gains

Within a dimension from low empire, corruption and economic crisis end up walking together.

not, then perhaps a case if the Court of Auditors, in this part of the beginning of 2010, reported on three critical issues such as the financial aspects of the design of the bridge over the Strait, the securitization of healthcare debt, corruption. There are three cases in which the business plan is played entirely borne by society as a whole by increasing the size of all debt, while the benefits fall into the hands of a few contractors, some corrupt administrator and financial channels.

When we took the initiative no bridge in response to announcements of Berlusconi of wanting to replace the work the center of its political-media program we place the safety and seismic hydrogeology of the area, along with the revival of public transport as main points of a spatial strategy vertenziale. "The money from the bridge to the security of the territories" became our slogan. We did it before and after October 1, before and after the deaths in the landslides.

And it is from October 1 next to it and the days that we have verified the nature of political emergency. In those days we have witnessed on the field and the communication strategy for the management of an administrative practice that has made the ordinary extraordinary and the ordinary overtime. In short, there seemed to verify the field as the Strait of Messina Bridge is part of a strategy that includes major projects, events and emergency procedures following vertical choices, the concentration of resources, the drain of public resources, involvement of public and private parties, limiting the information, of questioning the practicability same democratic and which constitute a model to real policies permeable divider.

E 'this is why those who accuse us of not wanting to politicize the movement opposing the bridge to a transverse dimension (indifferent, that is, to the profound nature of the problem) replied that the discriminant is not the partisan nature of the statement but the contents that are expressed and that the opposition to the great work it too much to handle out of a contextualization of the same. It is no longer, in other words, to argue on whether or not a work. This is another idea of fighting for state relationship with the land and another idea of using public resources. It is built on this conflict.

The question of the bridge is no longer one of many to deal with. It will be the key to understanding this area. It will be the point of view through which it will aim the future. What you do or Bridge no, sarà così.

Luck or Fate?

Ambedue hanno their reason. But it's the same thing as the guy claimed, absolutely not! I believe that everyone is architect of his destiny, and behind this statement I mean that I do not accept everything that happens passively. Relying on luck is like waiting for your arrival on manna from heaven. This is exactly the attitude of a people accustomed by television, victim of scratch cards, which does nothing to change the course of a nefarious history that there is sweeping through the episodes of ill repute: mafia, corruption, nepotism, tax evasion , robberies and crimes at the highest levels cleverly masked, and when they discovered that they evoke in a people accustomed by Defilippi and grandefratello from a lukewarm, if not nothing, but still not adequately answered.

believe, like me, in destiny, it means that rolling up your sleeves, you can use to change it. It means to try to remedy that, many years of fatalism of luck have created, together with the wisdom of the Horde who managed to cultivate this belief in the population. How can you still believe that luck will change your life? I do not know. Perhaps the lack of historical consciousness plays, however, an important role. Sure there's example of what a euro has won a hundred thousand, or one million (classic objection of those who believe in luck), but, I mean questo contribuisce a mettere a posto il panorama nazionale, o piuttosto, come dovrebbe, fa incazzare per la mala distribuzione delle risorse?

Credo che sia proprio This is being done: to weaken the social fabric of a slave. The believes in the luck of the matter in question, simply put, is artifice. The fate of which I speak, is wanting. It 'necessary to build the future with the toil of their hands. Clearly, it is tiring and exhausting, but sit back and think that sooner or later we shall fall fortune, is comfortable as well as wrong in fact happening and all that involves a deterioration in which everyone, sooner or later we will have to do . The blame will fall more in the souls of those who did not wake up from its torpor, involving people in the disaster also has done everything he could to avoid it.

I do not believe in luck . Instead, I believe in the succession of cause and effect, I think if a mature society had taught the mistakes committed in history, instead of hiding them or rewrite them as unavoidable acts when not even redefine them right (cause), now we find ourselves not to commit again the same mistakes and just to frustrate the few achievements (effect). And you, believe in luck or fate ?

What Can You Do For A Chest Infection Naturally

100 years ago 'I

I want to make a brief analysis of what was and there was one hundred years ago. By this reasoning, I just want to realize what we have achieved, what has been established and what has been demolished, ed, eventualmente, cosa abbiamo perso nell'arco di cent'anni.

Dunque . Cento anni fa non si poteva ancora partorire in sicurezza, la medicina era molto indietro, ma lo sviluppo industriale cominciava con l'inquinamento environment, and we can say that in recent years is beginning to do damage at that level. The workers had no rights (like today). The unions were still far off (like today), and those who had money and wanted to keep them close, if anything, make more and more, without worrying too much about the way (like today). Forty years ago, through a strenuous struggle of the working class, which has its roots in the dawn of history, known defeat, we have obtained the rights to be inviolable, such as a decent wage, which jumped in the last ten years . Today a member of a union is an obstacle in some areas more than others, which prevents the emergence of the right to professional growth of the worker does not even provide a pretext to deal with discrimination severely penalizes times with infamous or degrading work without rotation, is seen by the master with suspicion, as if it were a threat to get rid of that first opportunity.

hundred years ago, there were no cars, widely understood as well, to everyone. Again we went with the buggy, who had, but poor on foot, by bike most fortunate and the poor. There was not expected to live very long, but often, living in hardship, I wonder if it was not a fortune. The alternative was to be rich, but even here, the money could not buy health care who do not yet exist. So we lived for less time. But it is to be noted that many diseases were better tolerated and fought to a healthy body, physical person who must not go hungry or live in the dirt.

hundred years ago there was Antonio Gramsci, today we Massimo D'Alema. One hundred years ago there was the festival of San Remo, and who is trying to make a policy for workers ... Well, they were bitter kale. Women had no vote. There was a monarchy. There was no fascism - just missing - that is the case today, although in different form by two decades. In fact it is one of the negative forces that are known to adapt to the times, concealing, finding new forms, avoiding the criticism of weak minds through thin channels of propaganda and studied, that make you swallow the shit even if it is bitter, but because of another color. It is appropriate of the blue, without abandoning the black of his soul. The emigrants were we, the poor in the barrel in search of work abroad. I do not know with regard to corruption, but certainly the most developed level we have reached our times. The network business / political / mafia / business, as we know it (? ) today, a hundred years ago was not there. But someone tell me if I'm wrong.

There was no nuclear power, there was no plastic (it is assumed that in 1920 - from Wikipedia), but there was this desire to do harm to others which have permeated continuously le vicende umane.
I want to end this post with membership of the editorial Padellaro Antonio on "the daily" on Tuesday 16 February. I too am outraged about the treatment of asylum children, wrapped in their coats, inside a kindergarten classroom without heat, uncovered by an investigation of "live", the program RAI3, aired Sunday, February 14 last year. Also I wonder: Where is the civilization of this policy of indiscriminate cuts? And the opposition goes to the festival. At least 100 years ago 'there was the festival.

Against the bridge project, public resources for citizens

di Luigi Sturniolo

Venerdì 12 febbraio il Ministro Altero Matteoli sarà a Messina per presentare ufficialmente, insieme al sindaco Giuseppe Buzzanca e all'amministratore Executive Officer Strait of Messina Pietro Ciucci, the design of the bridge over the Strait. It is not, at this point in history, to dispute the seriousness of the environmental impact of the work, which also would be huge, but to decide on the use of public resources.

Landslides and landslides in recent days demonstrate once again how fragile the territory of our province and the need for action to its safety measures. It is a question of people's lives. E 'is essential to avoid another October 1.

The presentation of the project (there's) the bridge over the Strait of Friday, February 12, with the presence of Ciucci and Matteoli, it seems, from this point of view, an event even more out of place and out of context. It is not, at this point in history, to dispute the seriousness of the environmental impact of the work, which also would be huge, but to decide on the use of public resources.

Besides the Minister for Infrastructure, responding to parliamentary questions during question time, has made it clear that the article will be achieved through the use of the market and through project finance (and this is all a game to play, We'll see what what will be the counterpart to an economic enterprise obviously deficient), while project and preliminary work will be carried out with public money (basically, recapitalization and FAS).

is the subject of dispute. Public resources must be allocated, as the government considers, in activities designed to work that hard to see the light, which would, however, a devastating impact on the territory, which has a significant impact on improving the infrastructure of the South (because this is at least the level at which you have to look) and that would benefit only a few large contractors, and some big studio, which would make it through the intricate web of access and devastating, cement, landfills, roads, even more fragile our hills? Or

public resources should be devoted, as he says those who oppose the operation-Ponte, for the safety of citizens, enabling them protection from seismic and geological, to the revival of public transport infrastructure that are actually useful to the proximity improving links in our area?

Matteoli Minister said in Parliament that the Government intends to make the bridge but, however, the preparatory works will, however, useful to the territory. There is some cleverness in this policy. It gives a nod to those who, without believing or even being contrary to the Bridge, you might think to take advantage of the flow finanziario promesso (che di certo sarà in gran parte dirottato nelle tasche dei tecnici delle imprese legate al General Contractor).

2nd Anniversary Letter

The bridge to be milked

di Rosanna Pirajno

Le mucche da mungere sono da intendersi, come si legge nelle puntigliose schede elaborate, tutte quelle grandi opere, o spacciate per tali, in cui l´impiego del denaro pubblico è finalizzato unicamente a procurare profitti notevoli ai individuals' with high-risk operations and unnecessary, "or even harmful, for the territory and even to social needs. The agile
booklet from the long title, Strait Bridge and Much to be milked. Major infrastructure, public services and speculative bubbles, edited by Luigi Sturniolo, is based on conclusive data, relationships between study centers accredited environmental and economic gurus such as Naomi Klein, his theory of the defense capacity of the environment outside the box of convenience of the "masters of no," and then offered to the public with all the cards of comparable documentation in order.
The great "private-public business is discussed in those initiatives that, in Italy and abroad, large and multinational companies seek to grab procurement of works - from the water and waste management to the construction of major infrastructure - which derive substantial revenue, almost always at the expense of safeguarding public goods such as health of the environment and people. L'affaire
Strait Bridge is part of law in this bleak landscape speculative, that the "accountant Fantozzi" persists in not wanting to see but which now, by a book "subversive" is in a position to know all the background.

Servis Washer Dryer How To Use Dryer

"The Mandarins and the olives do not fall from heaven" - African Rosarno

On January 31, 2010 we got together to form the Assembly of African workers
Rosarno in Rome. We
workers who were forced to leave after Rosarno
claimed our rights. We were working in inhumane conditions.
lived in abandoned factories, without water or electricity.
Our work was underpaid.
leave the places where we slept every morning at 6.00 for
returned only in the evening at 20.00 for € 25 that did not end even
all in our pockets.
Sometimes we were not, after a hard day's work, to make us pay
.
return with empty hands and the body bent with fatigue.
We were, for many years, the subject of discrimination, exploitation and threats of all kinds
.
We were exploited by day and hunted at night by the children of our
exploiters.
We were beaten, harassed, hunted down like animals ... drawn,
someone is gone forever.
They shot at us, for fun or for someone's interest.
We continued to work.
By the time we became easy targets. We could not anymore.
those who were not wounded by bullets, were injured in their dignity, their pride in
human beings.
We could no longer wait for help that would never happen because we
invisible, do not exist for the authorities of this country.
We got to see, we went down the street shouting for our existence. People do not
wanted to see us. How can you show someone that does not exist?
authorities and the police came and we were deported from
city because we were no longer safe. The inhabitants of Rosarno
have made us the chase, to lynch this time held in real
teams manhunt.
We were locked up in detention centers for immigrants. Many of us are still
, others returned to Africa, others are scattered in cities
South
We are in Rome. Today we find ourselves without jobs, without a place to sleep
without our luggage and with wages still unpaid in the hands of our
exploiters.
injured in Rosario, is granted to all of us who are victims of exploitation and our
irregular condition that has left us without work
, abandoned and forgotten on the streets.
We want the government to assume its responsibilities and ensure
us the opportunity to work with dignity.
