I take a distribution unstable because every day when I turn the pc do not know what will happen and I enjoy alternative solutions. Most of the time, when I install the updates, I forget to uncheck the ones that I know will have negative effects and I have to restore many things. I then opted to only install stable packages but I also noticed that the problems I had with Xserver have been fixed: Do not install two dependencies and I had to install the stable version again because I found myself with the command line without graphical user interface on every reboot . I must say that I have not had much to do in part with amsn because the 098.4 part only by root, but we do not want to waste so much time because I use so little that it matters little if it does not work. Preclude the fact that I do not clear the update I find myself having to reinstall the old version and every time because they are lazy, if you were to leave the ricapitare not working:)
A strange thing that still remains is that, according to the network manager does not I have installed neither eth0 nor wlan0 I have never used nor even, as both work perfectly. Right now I'm using wlan0. I can see and switch between them through the network monitor.
Icedove I had to install and remove evolution to which I had used because I could not handle the mail: it was always the option to work offline and online was "off."
I had to "adapt" by replacing the software that I used, my needs to those of my distro but I learn a lot and then ... you know are a geek:)
