Non sono un'esperta d'arte e non mi sognerei mai di analizzare le opere delle quali voglio parlare da un punto di vista tecnico ma solo descrivere quanto mi hanno emozionato le opere di Gaudi a Barcellona o il progetto dell'altare di Palma di Maiorca.
E' uno stile che non ha eguali quello di Gaudi e non credo di aver visto opere architettoniche che nemmeno lontanamente lo ricordano, sebbene abbia avuto molti imitatori e ancora ne abbia.
Vedere, a Barcellona, le case Vicens Batlló and the Sagrada Familia and in particular that looks like a sand castle is an experience that leaves you breathless. I did not like at all but the color contrast between the pre-existing (that of Gaudi) and the new one and wonder why I have not tried to make sure that the colors were the same.
